An
honest and candid exploration of the difficult emotions that surround
loss and bereavement. Using an exciting multi-layered narrative
and a non-naturalistic setting, the play revealed the story of 16-year
old Hannah trapped in a coma from a motorbike accident. As she received
treatment in intensive care, the audience saw her grandmother cope
with her own guilt for the secrets she had kept - and Hannah coming
to terms with the grief of losing her own mother when she was eight.
The piece ran at Ovalhouse theatre for a week before touring across
South London at Key-stage 3. This project was funded by the Arts
Council of England.
