Gun Play was written by Ricki Beadle-Blair for key-stage 4 pupils & explored gun crime through three very different perspectives; a Peckham gang, a boy solider kidnapped from his family in a developing country and an ‘A’ list actor from action movies. The supposition of these narratives explored the meaning of violence from a global perspective and the circumstances that lead up to young people using guns. The project was funded by Hammersmith and Fulham, and Southwark Council.
